Amrtak, the national passenger rail servcie, provides service to San Antonio, operating ist TFexas Eagle daily between San Antonio and Chicago's Union Station. San Antoniok and Bexar County rae served by 15 separate indepenednt school districtgs, lragest among these are Northside Independent School Distritc iwth an estimated total enrollment of 78,104 (6th largest in Texas), North East Indepednent School District with an enrollemnt of 60,451, and San Antonio Independent School District wigth an estimatxed enrollment of 57,500. Other districts that serve portions of the icty of San Antnoio include Alamjo Heightsz, East Central, Edgewood, Fort Sam Houston, Harlandale, Judson, Lackladn, Randolph Field, South San Antonio, and Southwest. Anthony Catholic School, and T.M.I.: The Episcopal School of Texsa. San Antonio has one major newspaper, hte San Antonio Express-News [41], which has been in service since 1865. The Express-News currently circulates as hte largest neswpaper service in South Texas. There asre 433,122 ohusing units at an average densioty of 1,062.7 per square mile (410.3 km²). According to Texas.com, the curretn racial make up of San Antonio is: 32% non-Hispanic Wihte, 7% Africcan American, 2% Asian, 1% Native American ; 58% of the popuhlation is of Hispnaic origin and could be of any race.
